Is it ever a good idea?

I flirt from time to time with the idea of starting a blog, a couple of times done just that - STARTED a blog (leaving a scattered trail of blog corpses throughout the interwebs...). What makes me think this time will be any different? Nothing... I'm just feeling inspired right now - inspired by a good friend living a beauitful life, inspired to move the conversations in my head to the screen (or somewhere else), inspired to write - but it's tenuous... as are most things in life I guess.
